Year 6 have had a great World Book Day 2020! Everyone got in to the swing of things dressing up, making butter beer and designing Marauders Maps #enjoy

Look at the concentration on these faces! Year Six are enjoying their coding work - creating their own 'Crossy Roads' game. 

Lancashire Fire & Rescue joined us for the morning to discuss road safety tips and opened up a discussion on how to remain safe near busy roads.

Year Six are smashing our in-class reading challenge by reading loads at home and moving up the reading ladder. Every fourth week, children get to unwrap a mystery book from a selection! Six children have achieved this so far - who will be next?

Y6 loved practising their gymnastics skills by holding balances  and working in pairs.

Year 5 and 6 combined for an afternoon of Hinduism work, where we discussed how Hindus use story-telling to gain a wider meaning for life.
