Y1 - History - Old and New Toys
This week, in History, year 1 compared old and new toys. We discussed how toys have evolved and changed over the years.
We used a Ven diagram to sort some images in to old toys, new toys and toys that fit both categories.
Year 1 - Science - Sinking or Floating
Year 1, enjoyed a practical Science lesson. We learnt what happens to an object when it is floating or sinking in water. We used our previous knowledge about materials to make predictions about certain objects, predicting if would float or sink when we put them in the water.
