Class of 2023

Year 5 are #enjoying applying watercolours to their collage. We have working on using tone to add depth to our composition. We can’t wait to add some texture in our next session. 
 

Year 5 have been busy learning all about email to understand more about inboxes, outboxes and junk mail with an unplugged activity. This was followed up by starting to learn about multi-tracking using sampled sounds to build up layers of multi-tracked sounds.

Year 5 had to try to figure out how a computer network worked and then found out how all these are linked and the jobs they do. A really informative discussion about computer networks and cloud computing…

Year 5 #embraced the skills of pinning and sewing this afternoon! We can’t wait to see how our toolbelts come together over the next few weeks. 

This week, Year 5 #evolved their toolbelt designs and starting making paper prototypes. We looked at the size, shape and how we would need to put together our final pieces. 
 

Year 5 loved their Computing lesson today on text based programming. They started to learn how to write commands in Javascript to make their own apps.
