Year 4 - 3D Design using 3D Slash
Impressive work in Year 4 this afternoon as they explored 3D design on the 3D splash website. After designing a chair and table, they were able to explore the different tools and come up with their own creations.
Year 4 - rounding numbers
Year 4 have been learning how to round decimal numbers today. We played a bingo game where the children worked in pairs and used dice to create a 2 digit number. They then had to check If any of the decimal numbers on their card rounded up to the number on the dice. The first to cross all out won!…
PSHE - big feelings!
Today we have been exploring the feeling of jealousy. We discussed what jealousy was, how it can affect us and looked at different scenarios where someone might feel jealous. The children came up with lots of good ways to help us overcome this feeling!
Year 4 Maths
Year 4 have been working hard learning how to read and write decimals. We used place value counters and charts to show numbers in tens, ones, tenths and hundredths!
3D Design in Year 4
Year 4 really enjoyed the start of their latest Computing unit as they explored 3D designs. They were so determined to unlock the new challenges and complete them all. Some were particularly tricky!!

Year 4 - Making a Book Sleeve
In DT, Year 4 have #embraced the new skill of sewing. Using a running stitch, we have turned bits of material into our own Book Sleeves!
