Y5 showed some really skilful practice in their hockey session with Mr Edwards! Passing, dribbling and controlling the ball to a stop were all on display!

Year 5 - Art - Packaging
Today, Year 5 have been taking inspiration from our artist, Ron Magnes. We have created collages using foods and drinks, looking at different compositions.
Y5-History Artefacts
Year Five loved their history lesson - investigating historical artefacts such as a Viking helmet, jewellery, coins and farming tools.

Symmetry!
Year 4 have been learning all about lines of symmetry in maths. We cut out some shapes and folded them vertically and horizontally to see if they had lines of symmetry. The children loved it!
Y4 Data Collection!
In this weeks computing lesson, Year 4 gathered their own data on a range of different topics. They then inputted this data onto a spreadsheet and created a bar or pie chart using this data. They loved being able to see their data in different formats!
Year 4 Edge Hill visit!
Year 4 had a fantastic day at Edge Hill university as part of our aspirations week. We learned some Chinese, had a go at some origami, played with new technology and even went to their on site beach!
STEM Week - welding!
Year 4 have loved today’s STEM activity! We have been creating box girder bridges using slabs of chocolate and welding them together by melting the sides of the slabs together. It did get rather sticky!
Year 4 - Dodgeball!
Year 4 showed some fantastic teamwork skills today in dodgeball. We’ve got some excellent catchers, throwers and defenders in our class!
