Year Six have been taking results from their shadows investigation and presenting them on a line graph. We learnt how to structure our graph with equal increments and a suitable scale.
We then reviewed our results and discussed if any variables influenced our findings.

Year Six Science - Investigating Shadows
Year Six have been investigating the link between the proximity of a light source to an object that blocks light, and the length of the shadow that is cast as a result. We measured the distance at our chosen increments and recorded our observations of the shadows as they altered.
Year Six PE - Orienteering
Year Six, yet again, enjoyed their orienteering session outside today. We learnt how to navigate a map to various reference points and even threw in some mental arithmetic at each point.
