Year 3 Aspirations Day 1 - Prison Officers Visit
Year 3 loved their visit from the prison officers and sniffer dogs. They asked some really sensible questions and found it really interesting.
Year 3 - Cricket
This half term children are learning to play cricket. They have been perfecting their throwing and batting skills.
Year 3 - Recorder Lessons
Year 3 have been enjoying learning how to play the recorder, they are really getting the hang of playing different notes.
Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Month
We have been looking at different communities and as part of that we have looking at an artist Gabi Jimenez. We created a piece of artwork in his style. We enjoyed this activity very much.
Year 3 - Elmer's Birthday Celebration Day
Year 3 enjoyed designing their own mosaic elephant/Elmer pictures and had fun creating them.
We also enjoyed reciting a poem about an elephant and added actions to it to act it out in front of the class. We then had a go at writing our own jungle themed poems.

Y3 Outdoor Learning - Summer 1
Children enjoyed their outdoor learning session, they needed to collect natural materials and then create a collage using what they had found. They created some wonderful masterpieces.
Year 3 French Afternoon
Year 3 had a brilliant afternoon of French. We learnt French words for fruits, sang a song and learnt how to say foods are good and bad for you. We also tasted croissants and French Brie. A great afternoon!

Year 3 French Day SP2
Year 3 enjoyed Easter themed French lessons including learning a little rhyme, making a French Easter card and learning French Easter words. Children also continued to build on their knowledge of French colours by playing a range of games.
Year 3 Outdoor Learning
