Class of 2024

We are learning how to divide by 2, 10 and 5 in maths this week.

We enjoyed building a tent as part of our camping topic and then writing some instructions.

We have really enjoyed learning about and trying out some toys from the past in our history lesson.

We really enjoyed meeting Miss Johnson's baby yesterday and asking her questions about what he plays with, what he eats and how babies change as they grow.

During ICT the children began to use software to create movements and patterns on the screen. We now understand what the word 'algorithm' means.

In Jigsaw we discussed: what healthy choices do you make? How do you feel if you make a healthy choice? We worked in small groups to discuss it.

We are getting so fast at out weekly mile in year 1. Well done everyone!

Year 1 are enjoying science week. On physics day we investigated which material was best to make a boat of. On chemistry day we carried out a science experiment and enjoyed observing the chemical reaction. 

Year 1 and 2 children enjoyed their visit to meet the beekeeper. We learnt some new information and even got to taste some honey.
