Design and Technology | Delph Side Community Primary School

At Delph Side Primary School, we are inquisitive creative and ambitious. We want our pupils to appreciate Design Technology. We want them to have no limits to what their ambitions are and grow up wanting to be illustrators, graphic designers, curators or printmakers!

Our pupils take inspiration from artists, craftspeople and designers throughout history to help generate ideas for their work. They explore and practice the knowledge, skills and techniques involved in their units and use their design booklets to record their observations and to review and revisit ideas before producing a final piece. We want them to embrace our core values and embrace the design and create projects that they can be proud of.
