At Delph Side we are musicians! We want our children to love music. We want them to have no limits to what their ambitions are and grow up wanting to be music producers, songwriters, composers or singers. We want them to embody our core values. We #embrace the curriculum, #enjoy the music lessons and #evolve into great musicians. The music curriculum has been carefully designed so that our pupils develop their critical engagement with music, allowing them to compose, and to listen to a range of musical genres.

We want to equip pupils with ambition beyond the minimum statutory requirements of the music National Curriculum and prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. We do this by introducing the Ukulele to the Year 5 and Year 6 children. We want all our pupils to remember their music learning in our school, to cherish these experiences and embrace the opportunities they are presented with.
