From the 6th-12th of November, Delph Side celebrated Remembrance Week in school. Each class studied a different topic relating to the war such as the Home Front, The Blitz, Holocaust and many more. Years 1-3 enjoyed our WW2 visior who showed them different artefacts that were used during the war. Year 4 enjoyed a trip to Stockport Air Raid Shelters to learn about what happened during The Blitz, Year 5 went to Western Approaches and Year 6 went to the Imperial War Museum. All in all, a fantastic week with some exciting experiences!
