Lego Play (Therapy) has been effective in helping the children learn communication skills, building friendships whilst having fun.

Everyone has a part to achieve one goal. The Builder - Takes the pieces from the Supplier, listens to the Engineer, and uses the pieces to build the model. The Supplier - Keeps all of the pieces, listens to the Engineer, follows the Engineers instructions, and gives the Builder the correct pieces. The Engineer/Architect - Holds and looks at the plans, asks the Supplier to find the pieces, gives the Builder instructions.

After the six sessions, everyone is awarded the Lego Certificate, in recognition of valuable contributions to the Lego Group.

Lego is used to help improve creative thinking and communication skills. The children are learning problem solving, spatial skills, and how to understand semi complex tasks.

Lego is always available in the Hub, the children love to create and are encouraged to let others know what they have built.
