The Sensory Room has been described as, ‘The best ever!’ (Year 2), ‘It is a place where I can just chill!’ (Year 3). ‘I love the relaxed colours of the lights…’ (Year 4 child).  ‘I like it in the Hub when there are only a few people in…it is very relaxing’, (Year 6).

Staff promote a relaxed safe atmosphere when in the room.  They have said that the children ‘need’ the time out and are more relaxed, focussed and have a sense of calm when they return to class.
