Year 2 enjoyed their Geography field trip to the local park, as part of our theme ' The Place we Live'

Geography

First we learnt how to read and follow the map of our route. We stopped on the way to identify physical and human features.

When we arrived at the park, we had to evaluate it and decide on things that we liked and did not like. On our return we had to think of what we would add to the park to improve it.We also spent time looking closely at the different play equipment and sketching it using graphite pencils.
