Today the children learnt all about Remembrance Day! We used the correct colours to paint a poppy, we moulded the playdough into poppies and we engaged in some poppy sensory play, using rice. We then watched a small video clip about how animals felt when the war was happening. We spoke about the animals and the soldiers being brave. We then spoke about a the time when we have been brave and created our very own poppies using egg boxes to remember ours, the soldiers and the animals bravery.
