Last week the children embraced our topic of bears, by going on their very own bear hunt! They used the character masks from the story and chanted the story out loud, as they set off on their journey to find the bear! They also took part in lots of fun activities such as, talking about the position the bear was in, using positional language, building a cave for the bear using the blocks, exploring sensory tubs to describe the different scenes from the story, bear hunt yoga and they even had a very special treat of doing some embroidery to help them with their pre-writing skills. #enjoy #embrace #evolve
