Year 1 have been carefully carrying out their experiment to find the best material for an underwater outfit! We needed to find out what happened when water was poured onto it. Did it get absorbed? Did it drip through into the bottle? Or did it sit on top? 

After lots of testing, we found that plastic and foil were the most waterproof of the materials we explored! There was only one way to find out properly - we dressed our own 'Traction Girl' in a plastic outfit with foil boots. Luckily we had been accurate and she stayed totally dry!
