We have been reading the story 'Guess what is growing inside this egg'. The children predicted which animals come from eggs and which ones don't. We then researched it to find out if we were correct, we then had to sort the animals into egg or no egg. The next day we learnt all about numbers and how numbers can be represented in lots of different ways, we found lots of eggs with items on representing a number, we had to work out the quantity and match it to the correct number.
