Year 1 have really gotten stuck into their Science learning this week by investigating 5 different types of animal and their features! We have been sorting animals into the right categories, exploring the scaly skin of reptiles, finding out which animals lay eggs and deciding which type of animal we are! We learned that the only animals with hair or fur are mammals, so that’s what we must be! 

In groups we made posters all about each animal class and told all our friends (and Mrs O!) what we had learned.
