Pre-School thoroughly enjoyed learning about the role of a police officer, they especially loved meeting PC Bentham and helping her solve crimes.

For our numbers the children had to use their counting skills to help workout how much jewellery had been stolen from the Queen. The next day PC Bentham had found finger prints at the crime scene and we had to explore our own finger prints, looking at patterns and sizes.

The children looked at a police officers uniform and the important items they need to do their job. We then enjoyed discussing and labelling our own police officer using our sticking skills.

Outdoors has been fun with the children taking on a role driving around in police cars.

Overall we have LOVED learning about the role of a Police officer
