In History we have been learning all about EXPLORERS! After learning all about the Arctic regions in Geography, we then read an amazing book called 'The Great Explorer' by Chris Judge. In the book, a young boy goes to rescue his Dad by setting off to explore the North Pole! He tells us all about the useful things he takes with him!

Year 1 became mini explorers themselves as they decided what they would bring on their journey to the Arctic or Antarctic! 

Then this afternoon... wow! A glove and a map frozen in ice! Who could it belong to? Where did it come from?! Year 1 had lots of ideas!
