We kicked off our science topic this week with a little recap of all the everyday materials we know from our previous learning! There were plenty of different materials to be found in our classroom. Before the Year 2 Scientists went to observe and explore, we made predictions as to which material we thought would be found the most around our room. A vote concluded that plastic would be the most popular. We collected our data, created a class graph and were surprised to find that the most used material in our classroom was wood!
Year 2 were surprised, but really pleased with how their first ever graph helped them to organise all the information they had collected!
