What a week of investigation!! Our Pre Schoolers have been learning the nursery rhyme 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive. They sang the song and Mrs Brady decided to buy a fish and let the children investigate for themselves. They learnt lots of new vocabulary such as scales, fins and gills as they labelled the fish. The children #embraced the fish and were mesmerised by it, they wanted to take their learning further, they wanted to see what was inside. Under the wishes of the children, we followed their interest, we found bones and teeth. Lots of discussion took place between the children as they investigated together. #enjoy #evolve
