Year 1 had a surprise visit from a penguin this afternoon. He needed help to find his home as he was lost. The children had to work out where in the world he was from. We used our knowledge of the world/globes and worked out it would be a cold area of the world. With the help of the ‘Go Jetters’ and our own atlases, the children explored the North and South Poles and agreed that he was all the way from Antarctica!
