This week the children have taken part in 2 votes. We discussed the reasons why we have a vote and modelled some examples. In the first vote, the children had to decide which book they wanted Mrs Brady to read to them at the end of the day. The children looked through the books and made their choice by looking at the pictures and from Mrs Brady reading the blurb. The second vote was 'should fireworks be stopped?'. The children spoke about the good and bad things about fireworks, then casted their vote. To cast their votes they coloured in a book and a fire work and placed it on their vote. #embrace #evolve
