Within their Maths provision, Reception have been looking at shapes with 4 straight sides.
They had different sized squares and rectangles and lots of loose parts to use. They discussed which shape would hold the most/least loose parts and compared how many different sized loose parts fitted in the shapes. Lots of counting practice and one-to-one correspondence!
