In RE, the children have been learning all about and discussing celebrations. They looked at a map of the world and were supported in identifying the UK and China.  They listened to the story of 'The Great Race' from China then retold the story, remembering the main events. They enjoyed acting out the story using the animal masks. The children are looking forward to the next coming weeks when they will be learning about celebrations in other parts of our big wide world.
