Reception passed round Jigsaw Jenie and shared what they do at home before they go to sleep (bedtime routines).  They discussed what time do they go to bed.  I'm happy to say that most of Reception get lots of sleep and go to bed nice and early.   They talked about their nighttime routines and if they dream when they sleep.  Reception then listened to a lullaby, laid down, closed their eyes and took slow, deep breaths. Mrs M reminded them about what happens to their bodies while they were asleep, that they grow and get healthy. That having lots of sleep is just as important and good for you them as food and exercise. At end of the lullaby, Reception pretended to wake up, yawn and stretch.  What a lovely way to start their day!
