Pre School- The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Pre School have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. Last week we learnt a new word 'symmetrical' and the children are loving using this word when creating their own unique butterflies. The children were challenged to find their friend with the matching symmetrical wing, they did amazing! The children also drew some fabulous caterpillars and butterflies.

Some of the children have been talking about their experience of going to the dentist, so we decided to create a station to help them clean the dirt from the huge teeth. They enjoyed looking at their teeth in the mirror and talking about their experiences of brushing their teeth and going to the dentist. We spoke about the foods which are healthy for us and used the healthy fruit to create our own repeated pattern kebab.
