Today year 2 have been investigating which material would be best to replicate the houses that were in London in 1666, during the Plague.
We found out that paper is stronger than cardboard and the thicker the cardboard, the stronger it is. We have decided to use cardboard to replicate the wooden houses because it is a strong material.
We are already excited for our new history topic of 'The great fire of London' and cannot wait to build the houses after half term.
Well done Year 2!
