This week Delphside have gone History mad! Miss Hanrahan has given each class a topic to focus on as it is Remembrance Week. Year 1 have been learning all about evacuees. During a forest school session, we talked about rations and ration books. We discussed why there were rations during the war, what food items were rationed and what people did to survive. Miss Hanrahan treated everyone to a scone as these were commonly eaten during the war because they don’t require many ingredients and they are easy to make. #enjoy #embrace #evolve
