Reception- Jack and the Beanstalk

Reception came into school to find a giant castle floating in the clouds. They quickly discovered that the castle belonged to the Giant from the story Jack and the Beanstalk. The giant was so angry with Jack for taking some of his belongings, that the Giant decided to take some of the letters from Jack's book. Jack asked the children's help to fix his book, so the children had to figure out which letters where missing and fill in the missing letters. Jack also asked them to keep a close eye on his flowers, he was testing to see how quickly his flowers could drink the coloured water. The children had to track any changes that they could see, to their surprise the petals turned colour very quickly. #enjoy #embrace #evolve
