This term, Y1 will be exploring Seasonal Changes during Science lessons. Today, we started the lesson listening to a story called Seren's Seasons. Seren can’t wait to put on her snow boots and build a snowgirl. She just needs to wait for the right season. This story has been linked to your Y1 child's class seesaw page for another read! We talked about how the weather changes as we go through the yearly seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Looking at photographs of trees during different seasons, we discussed which season the photograph was portraying and what made us think that. As a class, we followed a YouTube Video of how to draw a tree. Then, using our fine motor skills, we dot-painted leaves on our seasonal trees. Each table was challenged to create a tree from a different season. We #enjoyed using our artistic skills to complete this challenge. #wemakethedifference
