Reception had a delivery of a penguin, we discussed and debated where it might have come from. We then found the book 'Lost and Found'. We enjoyed reading the story and learnt that the Penguin was from the South Pole. We looked where the South Pole was on a map. We then wanted to help the penguin by making him a boat to travel back to the South Pole, so we tested the best materials to use for a boat. Once we got to know the story well, we decided to change the characters, transport and setting within the story, we enjoyed reading our new versions of the story.
