The children learnt all about how to keep safe online, the focus was ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. The children listened to a story called 'Chicken Clicking', a story about a little chicken who kept clicking online, buying lots of items without realising the consequences of his actions, he then took a photograph of himself and posted it online to make new friends. He found a friend but when he went to meet him in person, it wasn't the friendly chicken he had seen a picture of online, it was a fox. We had lots of discussions about the story and spoke about how to keep safe online. The children then played a little game, when they landed on the help card, they had to pick up the help card and discuss the scenario with an adult and talk about what they would do in that situation.
