This week, Year 1 have been focusing on those tricky 'ten and a bit' numbers. We have explored a range of representations to reveal the composition of 11-19 including Numberblocks and dice patterns. We used the rekenreks to partition the numbers into tens and ones. We spotted Numberblock Ten was hiding in many of the teen numbers and explored clues and tips of how to remember these numbers. Miss Kinsella also challenged us this week to remember the days of the week and the months of the year.
