This week we found some magic beans in our classroom, there was lots of discussion as to where they had come from. 'It must be Jack, from Jack and the Beanstalk' the children said. We found the book and shared it together. We had a great idea to plant the beans, but first Mrs Brady wanted to see how quickly the beans could drink the water. We used white flowers and placed some of the flowers in blue water and some in red water, we discovered that flowers drink water really quickly, as the petals on our flowers had changed colour.  We then planted our beans and waited for the magic to happen. The next day we found a huge beanstalk in our classroom and to our surprise the Giants castle too.
