Reception have been learning all things Autumn. They have loved singing Autumn songs and enjoyed playing the instruments alongside their singing. The children have identified that Autumn is one of our four seasons. They started by exploring the Autumn items they collected with their families. They compared their findings 'my leaf is big', 'my leaf is red', 'my conker has a shell, yours has fallen off', they have also learnt a new word 'deciduous'. The children then explored hibernation, the animals that hibernate and where. They made bird feeders to support animals with their food during the Autumn/winter.
