This week Reception have been learning all about 4 sided shapes. They have explore composing and decomposing shapes by folding different shaped paper. They now understand that shapes can have other shapes within them, 'look 4 little squares make one big square'. 'Two rectangles make a square'. The children then went on a shape hunt within the school and put a post it notes on anything they could find with 4 sides.
