Year 5 had a blast in their first lesson on their new history topic: The Golden Age of Islam - a study of a non-European civilisation.
We studied the inventions and discoveries that were made from around 965AD, and focused on the camera obscurer - the first primitive camera - created by an inventor who founded the study of optics.
