Pre-School have had a very exciting week watching their caterpillars hang from the pot and create a chrysalis around them. We now have 9 chrysalis and are excited to watch them turn into butterflies. Not only that, but our sunflowers, that we planted, planted in the week after half term, are beginning to grow tall.
There has been lots of new learning this week too! We have learnt the word ‘symmetrical’ and created symmetrical patterns on a butterfly. AND we have learnt about which food are healthy and which foods are unhealthy. We have even been practising healthy eating by having a lovely range of fruit available at snack time.
Great job Pre-School, Let’s hope that our butterflies hatch from the chrysalis next week and we can watch them fly away.
