Year 1, delved in to the world of programming during their last Computing lesson. We learnt some new key vocab such as programming, de-bugging and tinkering. The children completed a cutting and sticking activity which showed the importance of following instructions. We later learnt that the world 'algorithm' means a set of instructions in the correct order.

The children then applied this knowledge to complete their first programming activity on Ilearn2, which required them to tinker with a set of instructions in order to make their own cake,

Better still, some children managed to screenshot their work and upload it on to Seesaw.

Well done Year 1, great effort all round.
