Year 5 were fascinated by the range of Viking and Anglo-Saxon artefacts we had on display - introducing them to the Anglo-Saxon invasion of Britain in the next part of our history learning. We looked at a Viking sword hilt, a shield boss, Anglo-Saxon pottery stamps and coins they would have used.
