This week, in Maths, Year 1 have been learning about ordering numbers. We ordered some objects and numbers from the greatest amount to the fewest and vice versa. 

Before moving on to numbers, the children completed this task to support their deeper understanding of the words 'greatest' and 'fewest'. We wrote out their name using individual pieces of paper for letters. The children discussed with their partner, who had the greatest amount of letters in their name and who had the fewest.
