Year 1 - Grouping and Classifying Animals | Delph Side Community Primary School

In Science, Year 1 have been learning to identify animals and group them based on their features. We have been grouping different animals and identifying them for the past few weeks but today we had lots of different images of animals. The children were required to work scientifically in partners and group the animals based on their features. The discussion was so in depth and the children used their critical thinking skills to place the animals carefully.
