This week, Year 1 took part in Mental Health Week. We participated in a virtual assembly with lots of other schools to celebrate and discuss keeping our minds healthy. Miss Carvill gathered some ideas from the children about how we could keep our minds healthy and things that we enjoy doing which will contribute to a healthy mind. 

We then enjoyed a whole class yoga sessions before watching a short clip from 'inside out'. After discussing the different emotions from the characters we quickly realised that is it normal to feel a range of different emotions throughout one single day. The children then drew their favourite character and emotion.
