What a bright and very glittery week we’ve had! Our Hangout crew explored Bonfire Night and Remembrance through a mix of lively and reflective activities. We began with exciting fireworks sensory play, then came our breadstick fireworks, which were colourful and crunchy. Our handprint bonfires looked amazing, and we twirled and whooshed like fireworks during movement to music. Later in the week, we took time for Remembrance. The children learned that poppies help us think about special people who kept us safe. Although they are still very young, they showed great care and calm as they created their poppy art. The adults supported this gently and respectfully, helping everyone take part in a thoughtful way. A wonderful week of sparkle, creativity and care, full of fun, learning and kindness.
