Winter Walk Discoveries! 
Last week, our Year 1 class explored the signs of winter on a seasonal walk. We noticed most trees had lost their leaves—except for one brave Holly bush, which we learned is an evergreen! 

We talked about how some animals hibernate or hide away during the cold months and observed the winter weather—frost, snow, rain, and lots of grey skies! The children loved spotting these changes and learning how winter affects plants, animals, and the world around us.
