The Hangout kiddos are really enjoying their theme of ‘Colours’ this term. They are currently reading Wow! Said the Owl by Tim Hopgood and have loved exploring the colours from the story. The children have been sitting in our dark den, matching the dark, blue of night time to quiet sounds and the bright, yellow of daytime to loud sounds, just like the owl in the book. They’ve also had lots of fun getting messy by printing with their feet in pink paint, creating colourful footprints and enjoying the sensory experience!
