This week in Reception, we’ve dived into the magical world of the ocean through the story of Tiddler! The children have been exploring fascinating sea creatures and their habitats, and discussing why animals that live in the water can thrive there while land animals cannot. We even examined real fish up close to investigate their gills!
The class has enjoyed writing about underwater animals, locating the world’s oceans on maps, and sorting animals into land and sea categories.
